Tiny independent Cambridge school in central Zambia is seeking a qualified and experienced Primary School teacher to coordinate a school of around 50 learners in Kindergarten to gr 6. The school has been established for some years, but is seeking stable management, and people considering this position should be prepared to take on at least a THREE year contract. Souse and children welcome to accompany the person appointed Candidates must have 4 years recent experience teaching in a primary school, administration experience to at least the HOD level, knowledge of Cambridge will be a recommendation. Young ambitious candidates welcome, recently retired candidates are also encouraged to apply. Candidates should be aware that the town is small and very rural, those wanting a mall and movie theatre will not be happy here! Bush and nature lovers particularly welcome!
Qualifications: B Ed / PGCE + SACE with recent experience teaching in a Primary School. Must speak and write excellent English, be fully computer literate, be able to demonstrate the use of the internet for student research, and have a drivers’ licence and own vehicle.
